haha i've abandoned xanga ever since i opened facebook

so much more convenient since i never like writing blogs anyway lol (or just brief concised ones haha)

but here's a blog just to remind myself of

HOW HECTIC BBA(LAW) YEAR 2 IS

land law is 'wtt is goingg onn?' i havent started reading the first page of the book yett (partly cuz i'm waiting for Say Goo to upload the ppt which he promised but has failed to do so!!)

contract law is all about exceptions exceptions exceptions exceptions!! "the rule of law here is A, but the exact opposite of A, i.e. B, actually works in some circumstances and so does C, D and E. But I really cant tell you wt the circumstances are because the judge basically decides whatever he wants and there's no real rule to follow, so you'd better decide for yourself (after your mind is messed up with all the A, B, C, D...Zs)"

and finance is ok by itself and i wont comment about the lecturer (whom is so gd nbd bothers to go to his wed lecture anymore) but the tutor is soo annoying and rude and dai nang

but so far, i think the most difficult subject for me is accounting!!! i guess it's just because i'm very very badd att stuff like accounting or maybe richard is talking too fastt and too assuming of the fact that we rmb and know everythinf from last year (which i personally do not!!)

but luckily tort is very enjoyable =]

so must add oil this year!! ga yau!

this is my last week at jones day

and i'm really gonna miss this

surprisingly, i've had a good time at this law firm

so diff. from the previous boring-ass chambers one

everybody's so nice and down-to-earth here. and i got to meet some amazing ppl

sad that emily and esp. jessica is leaving today

went for a drink after work with jess and oliver...they are really hilarious

gonna miss everyone. but i'm sure we'll keep in touch

funny that i'm actually still in Year 1 (i mean done Year 1) and everybody's so much older

and i dont really feel that young

but the truth is i still have a LONG (too long) way to go...5 more summers till trainee-shipp!! sounds crazyy

gonna try out more firms i guess lol...got all the time in the world for that...hope the others will be enjoyable too

Got a super bad headache the next morning. But I still managed to get to work on time! Altho the whole day kind of dozed off in a blurr - luckily my supervisor wasn't ard to see what a blurry state i was in lol. the other girls were also not in a working mood (it's Friday!) and we sneaked off way before lunch break to CWB California Pizza Kitchen!! Haha yummy pizzaaa

Jones Day is really a nice law firm!! Most people are really friendly here. And I'm enjoying my work, feel that I've learned a lot from it =]

So many ppl on the beach that day! Luckily we still had found place to play number ball and sin bei ball. A girl came up to me and Leanne and took pix of us. She said she's doing a Summer beach edition for Milk magazine. See what comes up this THurs lol

BBQ @ night. wasn't hungry really, so only ate some balls & chicken wings. Then had a nice chat with Jac on the stairs leading to the safeguard's tower =] we should definintely meet up more next year!! / 5E big family (altho only half came...)
